Sarah Palin: a breastfeeding babywearer

Sarah Palin might not be the first woman to come to mind when it comes to natural parenting.  Most people consider natural parenting mothers as stay at home moms who dote on family, children, housework, and the environment.  However, Sarah Palin does practice two of the main ingredients of natural parenting: breastfeeding and babywearing.

In this article by the Huffington Post, Sarah Palin is pictured wearing her youngest son, Trig, while signing a bill in 2008.  If she can run a state while wearing a baby, any mother can use a baby sling to mulit-task.

Here is an article from People magazine where Palin mentions pumping her breastmilk for her son. 

Although Sarah Palin might not be the poster girl for natural parenting, she sure blows away natural parenting critics who claim that breastfeeding and babywearing are too hard for any working mom to practice.
