On Wednesday, Jan. 8, Sarah Michelle Gellar won Favorite Actress in a New TV Series for her CBS show "The Crazy Ones." During her acceptance speech, Gellar gave a special shout-out to the crew and fans of Joss Whedon's cult TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", in which she played the title role:

For seven years, I had the privilege to be a part of one of the most amazing television shows and I've never gotten the chance to publicly thank them, the cast, the crew, and all the fans of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," so thank you!

Gellar also tweeted thanks to fans of her three major TV roles, including The CW's "Ringer", which ended in 2012.

One of the actresses who lost to Gellar was Ming-Na Wen, star of Joss Whedon's current TV series, ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
