Sarah Michelle Gellar slams Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on Twitter

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who currently stars in the TV show “The Crazy Ones,” slammed reality star Kim Kardashian and singer Kanye West on Twitter on March 21.

The Tweet was sent by Gellar shortly after the Vogue cover of Kardashian and soon-to-be-husband West was published this month.

Twitter: What did Sarah Michelle Gellar say about Vogue?

In her Tweet, Gellar, who is @RealSMG on the social media network, wrote:

Well…..I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???

The Tweet is obviously in relation to the public controversy about the current Vogue cover that features the celebrity couple. The rumor mill has been flying since the cover published last Friday that West begged Vogue’s Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour to put Kardashian on the cover. Wintours has since issued a statement to explain that the rumour of being asked by West to put his fiancee on the cover is untrue.

Popularity of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Twitter post

The Tweet by Gellar got a lot of attention on Twitter. To date, it has 9,297 Retweets and 13,003 Favorites. There were a series of comments back to her, including TV host Jonathan Cheban, who is Kardashian’s friend. His response to Geller on Twitter was:

Do u matter?

Cheban has appeared on the TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," often in scenes with Kim Kardashian. And so the Twitter backlash over the Vogue cover of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West continues. Sarah Michelle Gellar has played her role in it, using social media.
