Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams to star in CBS pilot 'Crazy Ones'

CBS just announced yesterday that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams are set to co-star in a new pilot called "Crazy Ones".

The story is about a father, played by Williams and a daughter, played by Gellar who run an advertising firm. Gellar's character is named Sydney Roberts and William's is Simon Roberts.

Gellar plays a highly ambitious and motivated professional female that has to babysit her father in many aspects of his life- professional and personal thus suffering in her own life.

"Crazy Ones" is listed as a comedy and with Robin Williams starring that should not be a stretch. It actually should help Gellar make the television comeback that she thought "Ringer" was going to do for her.

Ringer was a CW show that lasted less than one season. CBS is hoping that this comedy sitcom will find success like their other primetime comedy shows.

Gellar found her fame as Buffy in Joss Whedon's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as well as Daphne in the "Scooby Doo" movies.

There is no specific date as to when the show will air if it is picked up.
