Sarah McLachlan fans will have a chance to chat online during the multi-Grammy and Juno winner's first ever Facebook Q&A. The veteran Canadian singer-songwriter will answer questions about her upcoming album "Shine On," the supporting tour and more!

According to an update posted on April 28 at SarahMcLachlan.com, the Lilith Fair founder will stage the event, dubbed "Sarah Live Q&A," on Wed., April 30 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. PT. Participants are instructed to sign in to Facebook when the chat officially opens and type their question in the comment section. The Q&A is in support of the "Angel" hitmaker's 8th studio album, which will be released on May 6.

McLachlan fans chomping at the bit to hear her first studio album in four years have an opportunity to preview three tracks in their entirety. The 46-year-old Halifax, NS native is currently streaming two album tracks, titled "Beautiful Girl" and "Monster," as well as the album's lead single "In Your Shoes" in their entirety. Each track on the album can also be sampled at her official YouTube page.

"Shine On" will be McLachlan's first release on Verve Records, after parting company with longtime label Nettwerk/Artista. The album features eleven-tracks and is available in CD and digital formats. Fans can also order the deluxe edition, which features an addition two songs. For more information on the Q&A or preorder information, check out her official Facebook page or SarahMcLachlan.com.

The "Angel" hitmaker has been busy with promotional work in support of the new album, which will include a sold out "Up Close and Personal with Sarah McLachlan" show on May 15 in Toronto, ON as part of the Visa Infinite music series. Last month, the eight-time Juno winner performed her Canadian television debut of “Beautiful Girl" and also acted as a special presenter for the music education charity MusiCounts at the 2014 Juno Awards held in Winnipeg, MB.

She recently announced a U.S. Shine On Tour leg, which will kick off June 20 at Woodinville, Wash. at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery and wrap up Aug. 3 in Dallas, Texas at Margot & Bill Winspear Opera House. A full Canadian tour leg is also in the works, slated tentatively for the fall. Dates and details are expected to very shortly.
