According to the Christian Post, it was reported on March 9 that Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't like 'The Carrie Diaries' and thinks the show is "odd." The Carrie Diaries is the prequel to 'Sex and the City' which previously aired on HBO starring the actress. The prequel is a show that airs on the CW and tells the story about how Carrie Bradshaw started out in New York City. Although Parker, 47, thinks the show is odd and really doesn't like it, she does support the actress who plays a young Carrie Bradshaw, AnnaSophia Robb.
When 'The Carrie Diaries' first aired in January, it got mixed reviews. Some loved it while others said it was a "disastrous attempt at trying to cash in on Sex and the City."
Some Sex and the City fans have pointed out that The Carrie Diaries has some contradictions to the main show. In Sex and the City, viewers were led to believe that Carrie Bradshaw came from a working class family. However, in The Carrie Diaries, the dad wears fancy and expensive suits and even gets Carrie in as a law intern.
