Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe collection debuts with T-strap called 'The Carrie'

Sarah Jessica Parker knows shoes. Good shoes. Expensive shoes. So, it is no surprise that her new Nordstrom shoe collection possesses style, panache, and elegance, to name just three attributes.

According to Fashion Times on Jan. 3, the actress, who played shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw on "Sex and the City" for both the small screen and big screen versions, has come up with some classic looks for footwear that carry her name.

One of Sarah Jessica Parker's big deals is a simple Mary Jane stiletto with an asymmetrical strap. But don't expect a huge platform on this high heel. Rather, get ready for the return of the single-sole pump.

Another particular shoe in this particular pack is called, for obvious reasons, "The Carrie." The design is a little edgy because the T-strap "sits lower on the ankle than normal." That description kind of suits Ms. Bradshaw, don't you think?

The prices for her new shoes are not all quite as high as what Sarah Jessica Parker spent on shoe collections as Carrie Bradshaw. In fact, her brand ranges from $150 to $400 a pair. Still, Vogue UK reports that SJP collaborated with shoe king Monolo Blahnik's CEO George Malkemus to come up with the luxury line.

That revealed, this past summer the actress explained her attraction to fine shoes, saying to Vogue US, "Because I got to play [the role of Carrie Bradshaw], I wore a lot of shoes." She added that "by default [she] learned an enormous amount" and that "it's hard to — no pun intended — walk away from that."

And because she didn't "walk away from that," Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe collection will be ready for purchase in Nordstrom stores nationwide starting later this month. So, mark your calendars and get ready to put your best foot forward after picking out a pair. Ba rump bump.
