She’s revolutionized the world and the way woman walk in it, but this time around, Carrie Bradshaw isn’t the one taking all the street cred.
“I feel very honor bound to the woman who have watched Sex and the City for all those years,” Sarah Jessica Parker revealed during a recent interview on Windy City Live.
“I didn’t want to make a shoe that didn’t stand up to that relationship.”
And that is exactly what Parker has been doing over the past year;
Collaborating with CEO of Manolo Blahnik, George Malkemus, to create a highly anticipated shoe collection, appropriately named; ‘SJP.’
“I wanted to go back in time to the simple shoe,” Parker says of her collection, which launched earlier this month, exclusive to Nordstrom.
“It’s all about revisiting the single sole, and how simplicity can be so gorgeous.”
It seems to be nostalgic that Sarah Jessica has designed and created a shoe for the woman who’ve paid ode to Carrie Bradshaw and embraced her throughout the years...
And finally it’s here!
“First of all, this is the ‘Carrie,’ Parker revealed onset of The Wendy Williams talk show. “We wanted to create colour as a neutral and build a beautiful shoe in Italy, the way they use to be done,” she explains, also emphasizing on being fairly affordable.
“The fact is, sometimes it’s really hard to walk in a single woman’s shoes. That’s why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.”
