Sarah Jessica Parker is returning to television in a new show called "Busted." On Thursday, Huffington Post shared about this new show that fans of Parker are excited to watch. It has been 10 years since she was on the show "Sex in the City" and viewers are really glad to have her back on their TV again. It has been a long time since she was on the TV each week and not just in a one time movie role.

Her new show is based off the book "Busted: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal In the City of Brotherly Love." Sarah Jessica Parker will be playing a reporter in this show. For now this show is being called a limited run which makes it sound more like a mini-series. Her character will be helping to uncover corruption within the Philadelphia Police Department in 2009.

Yahoo News shared a bit more information about this show. She has only done movies since "Sex in the City" except for when she was on the show "Glee" for a few episodes. This new show is based on a true story which is going to make it a really good one to watch and explains why it is a mini-series.

It was written by Don Roos ("Web Therapy") and directed by David Frankel ("Devil Wears Prada".) There is a little talk about this show but it is in the really early stages right now. There is no news about what channel this will air on but you never know with this show. It actually would fit into several various channels.
