Calgon is best known for commercials featuring stressed out mothers. These busy women finally find some peace in the bathtub exclaiming, 'Calgon, take me away!' Calgon has shifted gears and launched a new line to target young women. The new line is called 'Heart Calgon' and can be found at Walgreens.
Actress Sarah Hyland of the hit show 'Modern Family' has been chosen as the face of the Heart Calgon campaign. Sarah Hyland will begin shooting this moth for the campaign's launch in the spring. CEO of Ilex Consumer Products, Bob Bailey, felt Sarah Hyland was a natural choice to represent Heart Calgon. He feels the Modern Family actress represents that age of women who are 'between teen life and adulthood.' In addition to her role as Haley on Modern Family, Hyland has also appeared in movies including Disney's 'Greek Charming.'
There are four collections included in the Heart Calgon line. Each collection includes a body mist, body shimmer, exfoliating body wash and body lotion. 'Fresh Start' features the scent of crisp apple, jasmine and water lily. 'Sweet Crush' includes the smell of fresh fruits, grapefruit and peony. 'Rock Steady' features wild berries, passion fruit and amber. 'Hot Date' smells like creamy vanilla, sparkling pear and exotic florals.
