After months of keeping her relationship with Matteo Guidicelli private, pop princess and certified box office queen Sarah Geronimo finally admitted that the actor is her boyfriend. In an interview with MJ Felipe, one of the movie reporters of ABS-CBN, held at "Dolphy Theater" this evening, June 19, 2014, Sarah said “Yes, Matteo is my boyfriend. I think, it is not right if we call each other “Mahal” (Love) if we do not have relationship.”

After watching her interview, popsters immediately expressed their happiness for Sarah and Matteo on social media. They congratulated Sarah Geronimo for her courage to admit her relationship with the athlete-actor who chose to remain quiet these past few months despite the circulation of their photos and videos online that almost confirmed their romance.

Reports said Matteo courted the pop princess during their stay in the U.S. for a concert series, since then, rumors didn’t stop, but instead of admitting his rumored courtship, the hunk actor decided not to talk about the issue. A few weeks ago, their photos with real life couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos came out, according to the report, Matteo was scheduled to join the racing event, but because of his health condition, he decided not to join the event.

Several days after the circulation of their photos online, Catherine Salonga and Ivan Carapiet posted another photos of a couple using their official Instagram account. Matteo remained quiet when interviewed by reporters after the circulation of their photos online, but he assured everyone that he and Sarah Geronimo are happy. He also confirmed that he had already introduced the pop princess to his family especially to his mom. And now that Sarah has already admitted her relationship with him, some observers are saying that this is his time to reveal the real story behind his secretion.
