Sarah Drew is pregnant, and she wants the world to know it. The lovely and talented actress shared a photo of her growing baby bump on social media on July 29, 2014, and her accompanying message left no doubt about what it means. She is expecting the arrival of her second baby. "Nope," she wrote. "That's not a fake belly." It's official.
According to MSN, the baby is due in December of this year, but Drew doesn't know whether she is expecting a boy or a girl.
The Massachusetts-born redhead is best known for her "Grey's Anatomy" role; she has portrayed Dr. April Kepner since 2009 and has appeared in other popular television series including ""Mad Men," "Supernatural" and Glee!"
Professor Peter Lanfer is the proud papa-to-be. Lanfer and Drew have been married for more than a decade, and they are also parents to son Micah Emmanuel, who was born in 2012. According to Christian Post, 33-year-old Sarah Drew had motherhood on her mind during a recent interview. She had some kind words for stay-at-home mothers in particular.
Drew said, "I cannot imagine a job that is more important, and yet we don't as a culture. We don't celebrate it, so this is our opportunity to celebrate it, and honor it, and look into hearts and minds of stay-at-home moms and say, 'Well done! You deserve an award and you won't get one, so here you go, this is it!'" Could that be a hint that Drew is planning to take a break from acting after the baby is born?
Is Sarah Drew pregnant? Yes. And she couldn't be happier. Congratulations to the happy couple.
