Sarah Alarid vanished after leaving a friend's New Year's Eve party. She had reportedly been arguing with a former boyfriend, but the details of the argument are not known. While the media appears to be lacking in coverage of this case, the loved ones and concerned members of the Santa Clarita community are pulling together in search of the missing woman. The latest update comes from the "Wheres Sarah Alarid" and "FIND Sarah Alarid" Facebook pages. Both communities have a new event posted for 1/09/2013 regarding the search for the missing Canyon Country woman.
Today at 10:00 a.m., at 26825 Bouquet Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, loved ones of the missing woman and members of the community will gather to collect and distribute flyers. This is in hopes of spreading awareness of her disappearance. What should be asked, however, is if this coordinated event will lead to any volunteer-powered searches for Sarah.
There are a lot of rumors circulating about the missing woman, and plenty of speculation, but none of these things matter until she is located and some solid answers can be obtained. Sarah Alarid could be anywhere right now with both she and her vehicle missing. The stark lack of evidence in the case is also disturbing. Hopefully those who show up at this morning's flyer event will make an impact in the search for Sarah, but until then, shouldn't someone be pressing investigative officials for details behind their investigation?
