RCA Nashville artist Sara Evans brings her live show to the Gold Country Casino showroom on Fri., June 13. Tickets start at $35.00 and go up to $60.00, and can be purchased online at Gold Country Casino’s website, where you can pick your exact seats.

Sara got her big break in 1995, when she was singing demos in Nashville, and country songwriter Harlan Howard heard her performing a demo for his song, “Tiger By the Tail,” and was so impressed, he helped her get signed by RCA Nashville’s label.

Sara recorded her first album, “Three Chords and the Truth,” which was released in 1997, and was a critical favorite, with a neotraditional sound that was very different from the other music that was being made at that time. Although none of the three singles she released from the album made it into the Top 40, RCA kept her signed on, and she recorded her sophomore album, “No Place That Far.” The title track to that album became Sara’s first No. 1 hit, and the album was certified Gold by the RIAA with 500,000 copies sold.

Since that time, Sara has earned 5 No. 1 hits, and has released 7 solo projects, the latest, “Slow Me Down” was released on March 11th of this year. The title track is her current single, and is currently making its way up the charts, sitting at #19 this week.

Sara is one of country music’s best female vocalists in my opinion, and having attended many of her shows, I can totally recommend seeing her live.
