On Sunday, April 1, 2012, the 47th annual ACM Awards will be broadcast live from Las Vegas. The nominees for this year's big event were announced in a press conference earlier today. Country music fans everywhere tuned in to find out if their favorite artists were going to make the cut this year.
Long-time Sara Evans fans will be thrilled to know that Sara was honored as one of the nominees for the 2012 ACM Awards.
In 2011, Sara Evans' return to country music was welcomed by fans with such kindness that you'd think she never left. Her first release, A Little Bit Stronger, off the album Stronger, went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Country Chart. She received warm receptions at the 46th annual ACM Awards, the CMA Awards and even upon her return to Dancing With the Stars, the show she had previously abandoned as a contestant during an upsetting time in her personal and thus, professional life. Sara Evans could not have picked a more appropriate or truthful album title for her 2011 return to country music. She is indeed, stronger, and country music fans are thrilled to have her back.
Sara Evans received a 2012 ACM Awards nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year.
