Sara Ann Bade, we would hate to be your boyfriend.

The 24-year-old Montana woman was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly attacking her boyfriend over the not-so-nice things he uttered about her – while the poor dude was asleep!

According to court records, Bade is charged with a felony count of assault with a weapon, the Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports.

The unidentified boyfriend says that Monday night, he awoke from sleep after Bade was “screaming, kicking and throwing bottles” at him. After being roused from his sleep, she told him that he was talking nasty about her, and the two continued arguing. The boyfriend and Bade took the argument outside, at which point Bade went back into the house and came out with a shotgun.

Police said Bade first used the butt of the gun to beat her boyfriend, then shattered his car window after he tried to take refuge inside. She then spun the shotgun around and blew out his car tires to prevent him from leaving.

Reports NewsMax: “Bade was arrested and taken to jail after authorities found her hiding in nearby bushes. While she admitted to hitting her boyfriend with the gun, Bade said the man wouldn’t leave her home when she asked him to do so after they began fighting. She also said he had hit her in the head and the closest thing for her to grab was her shotgun, the Chronicle reported.”

Bade was jailed on $5,000 bond.
