Santorum first 2012 presidential candidate to speak in Missouri on Monday

Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum is expected to speak at St. Charles Community College on Monday, January 30. The event will begin at 2:15 p.m. in the Social Sciences Building on campus at Mid Rivers Mall Drive.

According to news reports from the 24th State and the St. Louis Political Buzz Examiner, Presidential candidate Rick Santorum will be the first 2012 presidential candidate to speak in the St. Louis area.

Rick Santorum is a homeschool-friendly presidential candidate who has the Duggar family (from 19 Kids and Counting) on his side.  The popular reality show homeschooling family claims that their prayers are what soared him to win the Iowa Caucus.  Iowa was originally thought to have gone to Mitt Romney with a difference of only 8 votes.  However, later tallies have revealed that Rick Santorum was the winner.  They have asked families and friends everywhere across America to support Santorum.

A recent news release stated that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, along with their five oldest children (Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill and Jessa) have joined Rick Santorum on his campaign tour.  This means that they may also be in attendance when Rick Santorum takes the podium on Monday in St. Charles.

He is expected to keep his St. Charles appearance speaking schedule despite recent news that his youngest daughter Bella, who has special needs, was hospitalized in Philadelphia.  He took time out from his campaign to be by her bedside, but is expected to regain his rigorous schedule today.
