Santana, Rolling Stones, George Harrison, U2 inducted into Grammy Hall of Fame

Twenty-seven new recordings were announced Dec. 3 as the latest music named to the Grammy Hall of Fame by the Recording Academy. The newest inductees include records by George Harrison, Santana, Miles Davis, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, U2, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and War.

According to the Recording Academy, recordings are nominated annually by a special member committee and then approved by The Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees. With the 27 new titles, the list currently totals 960 and is on display at the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live.
