Santa steam train pulls into Vancouver, Washington station this Saturday

Vancouver. Washington will host the ninth annual BNSF Santa Steam train. The train will pull into the Vancouver Amtrack Station Saturday, Dec. 21, at 11 a.m. Santa will be aboard this vintage 1938 SP&S 700 steam locomotive ready to greet visitors and hand out gifts for children.

The event features live music, refreshments, and holiday decorations around the train. Attendees can also tour a GE4400 diesel locomotive on the near-by BNSF property.

The event is free with a suggested donation of new, unwrapped toy for a Toys for Tots toy drive. The Vancouver Amtrack station is located at 1301 W. 11th St. in Vancouver, WA
