Alan Evans, 35, has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery, terrorist threats, and animal cruelty for stabbing and killing his roommates' dog on Christmas Eve reports sfist.com.

Evans is currently being held in custody in lieu of $250,000 bond.

On Christmas Eve, Evans returned home and assaulted his female roommate by slapping her and pulling her hair. He then threatened to "eat her" and grabbed a knife from the kitchen. The woman ran to her neighbor's home and called authorities.

When deputies from the sheriff's office arrived, Evans was wearing a blood soaked shirt, and as authorities searched for other possible victims, they found the bloody body of the roommate's little terrier dog.

Rest in peace innocent little dog.
