An 'L.A. Salsa Festival' was announced today as part of the 2010 schedule at The Gibson Amphitheater at Universal City Walk. The event is listed for May 7 with Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Enrique, Willy Chirino, and Oscar De Leon on the line-up.
The L.A. Salsa Festival is part of a long list of Latin events that will be held at the Gibson this year, including concerts by Pepe Aguilar on July 16 and 17, Alejandro Sanz on July 23 and 24, and Vicente Fernandez on November 12 through the 14.
The 2010 event schedule at the Greek Theatre was also revealed. The Greek will likewise hold several Latin numbers, such as The Gipsy King on July 17 and Mexican guitarists Rodrigo and Gabriela on August 18.
