Do you like to take pictures of gardens and plants? Would you like to win a $500 gift certificate for all kinds of plants?
Santa Rosa Gardens, a nursery that sells over 750 varieties of perennials (including water plants, bamboos, succulents, bulbs and herbs) and 175 types of ornamental grasses, is having a photo contest. The theme is “Your Style, Your Passion, Your Garden”. They are looking for images showing the diversity of plants in the landscape. The photos can be from anywhere in the world, and of any aspect of plants/gardens: containers, natural landscapes, water gardens, specimen plants, close ups, formal garden architecture, or assorted plant life. Photos may be digitally cleaned (removal of dust, color corrections) but not altered beyond that. You may submit up to six photos, but only one prize will be awarded per person. Entries must be sent electronically.

First prize is a $500 gift certificate, second prize is a $250 gift certificate, third prize is a $100 gift certificate, and honorable mention is a $25 gift certificate.
