The Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area's new visitor center has an inviting offering for young nature lovers. Stop by King Gillette Ranch every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for Storytime at the Visitor Center. Children will be read stories about things they can find in the Santa Monica Mountains. The stories aspire to inspire youngsters to explore more of the park.

Storytime is free to the public and will be held in December on the fourth, eleventh, and eighteenth. Storytime runs between 10 and 11 a.m. at the Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center at King Gillette Ranch. The address is 26876 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas, CA, 91302. Call 805-370-2301 for more details.
