The Santa Cruz Warriors will host the defending NBA D-League Champions Rio Grande Valley Vipers in game 1 of their semifinals series tonight Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in downtown Santa Cruz, California. Tip off is at 6:30 PM.

The Warriors swept rival Los Angeles D-Fenders in the quarterfinals series winning 140-127 in game 1 at home on April 10, 2014 and 138-126 in game 2 on the road. Seth Curry led the Warriors in game 1 with 44 points, and Cam Jones scored 33 points in game 2 to go with his 30 points in game 1.

The Vipers swept the Warriors in last year's NBA D-League finals. The two teams split the season with one win each. The Warriors won 127-115 on January 9, 2014 in Reno, Nevada, but lost the 124-138 on February 26, 2014 in Hidalgo, Texas.

The Warriors will travel to Hidalgo to play the Vipers on Saturday, April 19, 2014 for game 2, and if necessary on Monday, April 21, 2014 for game 3.
