This Aptos restaurant is offering a special seven-course (!) dinner menu on Tuesday Feb. 14. It’s $75 for three courses; call (831) 688-6238 for reservations. Choose one dish from each course:

duck liver pate -fuji apple jam and garlic crouton

The downtown Santa Cruz restaurant is offering the choice of a $40 prix fixe dinner or a limited a la carte dinner menu. Call (831) 420-0135 for reservations. The a la carte menu includes Seafood Fettucini Alfredo, West Coast "Lobster" Roll (as seen on the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible”), Bacon and Avocado stuffed Free-Range Chicken, and Bleu Crusted New York Strip.
Prix fixe menu: Choose soup or salad, entrée, and dessert, plus receive a glass of champagne and a “special surprise.”

Handmade abalone and scallop cakes.
Crab Enchiladas
Two enchiladas filled with fresh crab claw meat and topped with Durango sauce.
Wild Salmon
Filet of wild caught salmon, grilled and topped with a roasted red bell pepper sauce.
Blue Corn Tamales
Hand made blue corn tamales stuffed with chicken, finished with a santa fe red sauce.
Sunday selections

Mole Manchemantales
Literally “tablecloth strainer”. Fragrant with roasted ancho, pasilla and chipotle chiles draws its sweetness from plantains, raisins, figs, mangoes and pineapple Served with pork carnitas.
Rock Shrimp Crepes
Handmade crepes filled with rock shrimp and finished with a spicy aji chile sauce.
Jalapeno Honey Ribs
Baby back pork ribs, slow baked with our very own jalapeno honey barbeque sauce.
Red Pepper Prawns
Jumbo gulf prawns grilled and topped with roasted red bell pepper sauce.
