Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association appoints new Board of Directors

Megan Metz, Executive Director of the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association (SCMWA), joins the Board of Directors in thanking the following for their effective leadership and dedication for the past several years; President, Cheryl Durzy of Clos LaChance Winery, Vice President, Jeff Emery of Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard, and Treasurer, Christine Slatter of Hunter Hill Vineyard and Winery.

Congratulations are in order for the new officers voted in on Jan. 15; President, Dave Moulton of Burrell School Vineyards and Winery, Vice President, Eric Baugher of Ridge Vineyards, and Treasurer, Jerold O'Brien of Silver Mountain Vineyards.

"An effective board member strives to become an effective community partner by helping to advance the mission and work of the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers," says Metz.

Exciting new ideas planned for the wine-loving public

The year 2013 will see the debut of Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association Restaurant Week, a new concept featuring five days of local wine and crab at numerous locations, taking place on Sunday Feb 24 to Friday, March 1.

There are also new elements added to the 9th Annual Pinot Paradise, taking place on March 22, 23 and 24.
