A Sandy Springs doctor was indicted Tuesday for allegedly molesting a girl during a sleepover at his home.
His indictment comes almost a week before the 40-year-old man is to appear in a municipal court for allegedly raping a woman in his home.
Mr. Kelly Thrasher was charged with child molestation, but the Fulton County grand jury also added sexual battery and aggravated sexual battery in the alleged crime against the child, according to the Sandy Springs police.
Mr. Thrasher was arrested on Jan. 24 after being released from the Ridgeview Medical Center where he had admitted himself after detectives initiated a criminal investigation into the molestation complaint, police spokesman Capt. Steve Rose said.
Mr. Thrasher was also charged in November for the alleged sexual assault of a 38-year old woman at his Sandy Springs home.
That case is set for 10 a.m. on Feb. 13 in the Sandy Springs Municipal Court. A court date on the indicted charges has not been set, he said.
Mr. Thrasher is currently free on $50,000 bond.
