Sandra Bullock came to the Super Bowl Sunday, prepared to root for the winning Baltimore Ravens. Bullock is a Ravens fan, but especially she is a fan of lineman Michael Oher, who is – in a complicated Hollywood way – her adopted son, reports Daily Mail on Monday, Feb. 4. Sandra Bullock played Leigh Anne Tuohy in the 2009 hit “The Blind Side,” which won her an Oscar.
And Leigh Anne Tuohy became the real-life adopted mother of the real Michael Oher, who was a homeless teen when her family first met him, in Tennessee. Starring roles and real life relationships aside, Sandra Bullock now has an on-going relationship with the actual football player whose life the movie portrayed, and her 3-year-old son Louis has the satin Michael Oher jersey to show it off. It’s a clear bet the lineman will be a pal and role-model to Louis as he grows. Sandra Bullock’s real life son is black.
And Sandra Bullock, at the Super Bowl to see her favorite player win his first ring, keeps in touch with Oher’s football career. “She follows Michael's career every step of the way,” reports Michael’s adoptive (real life) mother, Leigh Anne Tuohy said. “It's funny. I'll get texts (from her) during the game: “Why did they do this? They should have done that.”
Leigh Anne probably knows the answer. The movie described her family as avid football fans, especially of their alma mater Louisiana State.
Now, Sandra Bullock is a fan. It’s a small world, after all.
