Sandi Patty will be in concert with special guests Larnelle Harris and Wayne Watson on Saturday, January 26 at the Springdale Nazarene Church at 8 p.m. Doors for the concert open at 7:15 p.m.
As a five-time GRAMMY Award winner, Sandi Patty is hailed as one of the most awarded, Contemporary Christian, female vocalists. She has also received four Billboard Music Awards, three platinum records, five gold records and many more.
Patty was also inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2004 and named as an Indiana Living Legend in 2007. She has released over 30 albums. Her two most recent album projects include the Dove Award-winning album, The Edge of the Divine, which released in 2010 and her debut, full-length symphonic pops album titled Broadway Stories, which was conducted by Maestro Jack Everly and released in October of 2011.
In addition to her successful Gospel music career, Patty has recently performed with a number of symphonies across the country, including the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Boston Pops, New York Pops, Baltimore Symphony and others.
She is also a noted book author, who has penned the bestselling Broken on the Back Row, which earned her a 2006 Silver Angel Award. Her other titles include Life in the Blender, Falling Forward, Layers and her latest endeavor, The Edge of the Divine.
