Just how much did the Rupert Sanders divorce cost him now that his split from his former wife Liberty Ross is finalized? A pretty penny, from the sounds of things. TMZ shared the details of just how much that affair with Kristen Stewart took out of Sanders' bank accounts.
The Sanders divorce cost Rupert the family house along with two other homes in London, along with 15 percent of the profits he gets from movies outside of “Snow White.” Ross will get $25,000 in spousal support for the next four years, unless she remarries before that, and she will also get $14,000 a month in child support. That isn't all, as Ross also gets half of all of their shared accounts. As for the children, Rupert and Liberty will share joint custody. Sanders will keep the former couple's Malibu, California home and a VW van.
People notes that the two split in 2012 after photos emerged showing Sanders and Stewart getting a bit too cozy together. The photos led to splits for both Sanders and Stewart. Liberty and Rupert have two children together, Skyla, 9, and Tennyson, 7. While Sanders has apologized publicly for the affair, his former wife seemingly wanted no part in any kind of reconciliation. It would certainly appear that his choice to have an affair and end up getting caught in the middle of it transpiring is something he is paying dearly for, both figuratively and literally.
Is the deal Liberty Ross got in her Rupert Sanders divorce costing him too much? It would appear that most commenters online think she should take every penny she can get.
