San Juan, PR - In an effort to keep visitors well informed so they can appreciate and enjoy these and other local festivities, English and Spanish leaflets, with details of this year’s celebration of the San Sebastián Street Festival in Old San Juan from January 16-19 will be distributed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) personnel. The information will be available at the PRTC Information Centers in the Ochoa Building and the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, as well at all concierge desks in hotels in the Condado and Isla Verde areas.

This year the dates of the festival coincide with the arrival of five cruise ships to Old San Juan. To provide more entertainment options, in collaboration with the San Sebastián Street Festival Organizing Committee and the Municipality of San Juan, artisans, food kiosks, and music will be featured at the Paseo de la Princesa. The traditional “cabezudos” - entertainers masked with oversized paper mache heads representing local celebrities and public figures - will parade through the Paseo on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"The Tourism Company, alongside government agencies, and especially the Municipality of San Juan, is working to make the San Sebastián Street Festival an event for all Puerto Ricans and visitors from all over the world to enjoy” stated PRTC’s top executive.
