June 13, the San Jose Earthquake's Steven Lenhart was named MLS Player of the Week for Week 13 by the North American Soccer Reporters (NASR). Lenhart scored a hat trick in San Jose's 4-2 victory of D.C. United.

The Quakes (5-4-4, 19pts, +4) stand sixth in the nine-team Western Conference. Chris Wondolowski leads San Jose with six goals, with Lenhart and Simon Dawkins tied for second place with four goals apiece.
