San Jose PD investigating first homicide of 2013

San Jose police are investigating the city’s first homicide of 2013 and today released pictures of the 34-year-old victim.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of Tripoli Avenue just before 8 a.m. on January 6 on a report of a man lying on the ground. Upon arrival, police say they located Ivan Segura suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Authorities say there are no suspects in custody and a motive for the crime has not been determined. Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact Detective Sgt. Stewart Davies or Det.
