San Franciso Film Critics Honor '12 Years a Slave,' 'Gravity'

The San Francisco Film Critics Circle has announced their awards, adding another Best Picture win to Steve McQueen's "12 Years a Slave." The film also took Best Actor (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Best Adapted Screenplay (John Ridley).

Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity" also made a great showing, taking four awards of its own, including Best Director (Cuaron), Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Production Design. Perhaps Cuaron has a better chance at the Oscar than originally thought given that he's been able to defeat Steve McQueen multiple times now.
