Last week, San Francisco Supervisor David Campos publicly berated William Siffermann, chief of the Juvenile Probation Department, over Sifferman’s continued reporting of juvenile illegal alien offenders to the federal government.
In July 2008, Mayor Gavin Newsom ordered the city’s probation officers to report to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement all juvenile illegal aliens arrested on suspicion of a felony.
However, in November 2009, the Board of Supervisors amended the ordinance, claiming that probation officers can only report them after they had been convicted of a felony.
At Thursday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Campos accused Sifferman of violating the Board’s order and engaging in racial profiling.
Sifferman, though, was unwavering, saying: “We believe any modification of this policy would create an opportunity for the release of alleged felons who are undocumented into the community and place probation officers at risk of criminal liability,”
Campos threatened to withhold funding from the Juvenile Probation Department, if they do not stop reporting offenders to the feds.
Despite, San Francisco’s sanctuary policy, Mayor Newsom ordered his probation officers to report juvenile illegal aliens after a high-profile murder took place in his city.
On June 22, 2008, three members of the Bologna family were gunned down by Salvadoran national and gang member Edwin Ramos. Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16 were shot to death by Ramos as they sat in their car on a crowded street, in the Excelsior District.
Ramos who is a member of the notoriously violent drug gang known as MS-13, shot the Bologna family to death because Tony Bologna had temporarily blocked the car in which Ramos was traveling, as the two cars made their way through an intersection. The Bologna men were returning home from a family barbecue.
Though an illegal alien, as a juvenile, Ramos committed felony attempted robbery and assault, but was never deported.
Shortly after the shooting, the San Francisco Chronicle reported, Juvenile Probation Department officials, did not report Ramos to federal immigration authorities for possible deportation because of San Francisco´s stated sanctuary policy.
According to the San Francisco Juvenile Probation Department, 107 illegal alien offenders have been reported to ICE since July 1, 2008.

Of course he is angry. Reporting aliens will cut into his future power-base.
Another LOYAL AMERICAN from San Francisco. Illustrates why our Constitution requires a native born President, its about patriotic loyalty to our country. The enemy within.....just look around you.
David Campos is a former illegal alien from Mexico! He is a perfect example of the nightmare the
Dream Act would have had on the American people!
Most Mexican Nationals want to make the United States MEXICO AMERICA.
I have read that term on Mexican posts on line in their Spanish language.
David Campo isn't interested in protecting the U.S. he is interested in helping Mexico and Mexicans.
Like most Mexicans his loyalty is to his Homeland.
Report and Deport these dangerous people from the U.S.!
This ahole is Guatemalan.
DEPORT this fool to Siberia.
Not siberia, I may go there myself....
Oh, so Campos is above federal law? Who voted this fool into office?
Campos, being the racist that he is, is just trying to protect his fellow Latinos, the illegal aliens.
this racist is a brown supremacist
Take a look at this site to see a bit of california's alien problem.
USA is right! It's very apparent that ethnicity trumps all else with Latinos, no matter what harm their criminal illegal alien brethren do to our country!
Not that this isn't obvious, but Campos is a TRAITOR, A FIFTH COLUMNIST WORKING FOR MEXICO, AND NOT AN AMERICAN BY ANY STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION. He is violating existing American immigration law, and he is advocating for foreign nationals that have not business in this nation whatever. CAMPOS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED.
I have seen racists like Campos operating in California my whole life. He feels empowered to break the law and advocate for illegal aliens from Mexico, etc. The Mexicans in California eat it up. It's strange, but even Mexican politicians in Texas, for example, don't have the, pardon me, gross attitude of entitlement, those in California do. It's incredible.
Is this guy another Itnl insider, I'm not sure who he is...
