Sounds great. Thanks.
Great suggestions, Sheila! I can just see visitors trekking around The City with their checklists. Of course, everyone else will have at least one more irresistible place to suggest. Mine would be to catch a performance of Beach Blanket Babylon in North Beach, itself worth a stroll and a memorable meal.
BBB will have any couple laughing themselves into an affectionate mood. I saw it last Saturday night with a group of friends. (For the umpteenth time!) The musical continually changes to keep up with current events. Superb singers and costumes! Part of the ritual is to schmooze with others waiting in line for the (mostly) open seating in the cabaret. You'll meet as many locals as visitors.
...and, walk in the different neighborhoods enjoying the diversity of people and appreciating the beautiful architecture....
Great List!
A very full program for any visitor. Good choice.
Good list. As to clothes to pack, bring a sweater or sweatshirt. Froze one summer in San Fran.
Uh oh - my granddaughter is heading there to college next fall...hope she keeps her head about her.
Lots of fun and romantic things listed. Thanks.
