San Francisco quilt show this weekend, March 9-10, 2013

Join the San Francisco Quilters' Guild this weekend, March 9-10, for their fifteenth biennial quilt show. This year's show, titled Quilt San Francisco: The Evolution of an Art Form, will include displays of over 300 quilts plus works of wearable art. Several special exhibits will also be featured.

Visitors can sign up for an appointment with professional quilt appraiser Nancy Buver to have their quilts officially appraised. Quilting demonstrations will be held throughout the weekend, and quilting merchants will be peddling their wares. Tickets are $10 for both days of the show.

Details: Saturday, March 9, 2013, 10 am - 5 pm; Sunday, March 10, 2013, 10 am - 4 pm. Concourse Exibition Center, 635 8th Street, San Francisco. For more information, see sfquiltersguild.org.
