Leave it to our friends in San Francisco, where dogs outnumber children, to introduce a food truck which caters to our four-legged family members reported Reuters.com. After all, dogs and their humans share a very close bond; why not indulge our canine friends with some "gour mutts" treats?

Milo's Kitchen, a San Francisco based pet treat company launched their promotional truck on Friday evening at Marina Green Park where 300 owners and their dogs enjoyed complimentary canine cuisine. The truck will travel through August and visit 16 cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Chicago, and Detroit.

The company is a brand of Big Heart Pet and manufactures all of their dog fare in America. The company's spokesperson Chrissy Trampedach stated:

"Milo’s Kitchen is all about dogs being an equal part of the family, so we thought if people get to enjoy food trucks, why can’t dogs enjoy a treat truck?"

There is even more of a reason for any dog to chase the Treat Truck as it is affectionately called. Families can have their photos taken, and dogs can socialize in the Lapdog Lounge; all equipped with lounging sofas, drinking bowls, bones, tennis balls, toys and soft doggy beds.

It has been advised that humans eat before visiting the Treat Truck as the menu primarily caters to dogs. Each dog will receive a complimentary treat bag as a thank you for checking out the "digs."
