The unofficial kickoff of the holiday season is next week! Get your scary face on and hit the streets for an endless supply of free candy! Well, if you're under 12-years-old, or can pass for a young one, you get the free candy. This year, for the third time in a row, San Francisco has been dubbed the place to trick or treat.
Every October the fine folks of Zillow rank the top 20 cities for trick or treating by comparing median home values, walkability, population density and crime rates. For the third year in a row San Francisco tops the list. San Jose is the only other Bay Area city to make the grade, ranking number four. Boston took second, Honolulu claims the third spot with Seattle rounding out the top five.
In addition to the general rankings, Zillow also ranked the neighborhoods of the top five. So, if you are looking for full-size candy bars here is your San Francisco itinerary; Noe Valley, Sea Cliff, Cow Hollow, Presidio Heights and Glen Park. Bring on the sugar rush!
