San Francisco Fashion And Merchant Alliance, Inc. (SFFMA) and Wix.com have teamed up to bring you San Francisco Fashion Week 2011. It will start on August 8 and end on August 14. Fashion and technology will be fused together in this year’s show while upcoming designers as well as student collections will be highlighted. Workshops will be held at various locations including the Apple Store, the Wix Lounge, EF Factor HQ Office, Pigment Cosmetics, and 5 Claude Lane Gallery. There will be weekend runway shows at Madrone Studios.
Designers who will be showcased are Carole Wang, Alphyn Industries, Inc., Jennifer Ly, Mikelsen, Alyssa Nicole, Prima Jiva, Violetta Vieux, Jackee Princeau, Camelia Skikos, Ken Chen, Lucky Lu Clothing, Victor’s Promise, Dahae Kim, and Wen Guo.
SFFAMA is a California-based non-profit organization and is the top institution in the Bay Area’s fashion industry. SFFAMA is committed to creating an alliance between local merchants and fashion entrepreneurs through the use of social media marketing. Sustainability is one of the main aims of SFFAMA.
