The San Francisco 49ers are in an awkward place in the 2013 postseason. They won 12 games in the regular season and had one of the best teams in the NFL. However, if they want to make it to the Super Bowl, they will have to win every game on the road. Their second test comes in the NFC Divisional Playoffs against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. According to ESPN on Jan. 11, the Seattle Seahawks beat the New Orleans Saints, so whoever wins this game will have to head to Seattle for the NFC Championship next week. Here is how fans can follow the San Francisco 49ers vs. Carolina Panthers live stream on Sunday.

  • Date: Jan. 12
  • Time: 1:05 p.m. EST
  • TV: FOX
  • Radio: XM 88
  • Live Stream: FOX Sports Go

While the 49ers have to face the facts that they have to win on the road. the Carolina Panthers come into this game with something to prove. They are at home and had a first round bye in the playoffs, yet the 49ers still had the point spread advantage heading into the big game. While the spread has recently been changed to even, Carolina still feels disrespected and want to make a point.

Another reason the Panthers might feel disrespected is that one of their celebrity season ticket holders - WWE Hall of Fame legend "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair - went to San Francisco last week to give the 49ers a pep talk. While the WWE scheduled this, Carolina fans are angry and Panthers' wide receiver Steve Smith said it was now a burned bridge. Needless to way, things in this game are shaping up for a nasty Sunday afternoon.

The San Francisco 49ers vs. Carolina Panthers live stream kicks off at 1:05 p.m.
