San Francisco 49ers unveil Jim Harbaugh clothing collection (Photos)

The San Francisco 49ers released a statement today to present its Jim Harbaugh Collection, featuring official clothing of the team’s enormously popular head coach.

Here are the complete details of today’s press release:

“With a wardrobe that stands the test of time, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is bringing his attire to the masses by launching his own clothing line, the Jim Harbaugh Collection.

A trendsetter in the coaching profession, Harbaugh has inspired fans with a unique sideline look that he carries over into all facets of his life. Whether the 2011 AP Coach of the Year is stalking the sidelines of Candlestick Park or enjoying a round of golf at Pebble Beach, chances are he'll be dawning his black fleece, khaki pants and 49ers black cap.

"I probably save about 20 minutes per day," Harbaugh said about limiting his daily clothing decisions. "I've cut down a lot of drag."

After being featured in fashion magazines such as GQ and Vogue, Harbaugh is well known for his multi-functional style.

In addition to his Sideline Collection, Harbaugh is also launching a Golf Collection, Casual Collection and Formal Collection, in which Harbaugh sports a blue-collar shirt underneath his fleece, in addition to complementing the ensemble with black dress shoes.

The entire Jim Harbaugh Collection is available starting April 1. View the images below and make sure to browse the numerous clothing options.”

But when clicking on the link Shop the Jim Harbaugh Collection at the bottom of the page, viewers are greeted with a photo of the 49er coach with a comical caption that simply reads “Happy April Fools!”

Popular Bay Area sports personality Gary Radnich commented today that Coach Harbaugh wears the same 49ers baseball cap, shirt and pants for every 49er event so having a clothing line would only carry those three items.
