Who needs reality television when you can have the drama live? San Diego’s Annual Chef Showdown, inspired by Iron Chef and hosted by the Center for Community Solutions, will return for its 10th anniversary on Thursday, September 18, 2014. The event will showcase San Diego’s top talents in a fun (and highly anticipated) local culinary competition. The best part? It is all for a good cause!
The September 18th fundraising event will be held at a new venue this year, the San Diego Harley-Davidson showroom, which is the largest Harley-Davidson franchise in the country. Event highlights will include food and beverage tasting stations, a raffle, and silent and live auctions for the guests. Proceeds will benefit Center for Community Solutions (CCS).
Center for Community Solutions (CCS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that provides prevention and intervention services for domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse survivors. Each year, Center for Community Solutions assists more than 11,000 San Diegans. Additionally, the organization operates the only rape crisis center in the city of San Diego and the only elder abuse program in the county of San Diego.
