The arts community is alive and thriving and in just a few days it will be in full effect in America’s Finest City! The San Diego Fringe Festival is back for its second year to welcome local artists and participants worldwide to join in on pretty much every kind of performing arts imaginable.

The San Diego Fringe Festival is in affiliation with Actors Alliance of San Diego and is a non-profit event of ContACT Arts. People attending can expect art of every variety including: music, comedy, dance, poetry, spoken word, film and many more, all scheduled to commence for 11 straight days (July 3rd-13th) at various locations throughout the city.

On Saturday, July 12th, a special Family Fringe event will take place at Fringe City at Horton Plaza (808 Broadway) from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. This event is free to the public with artist donations encouraged. The entire afternoon will consist of family friendly performances and fun.

An official Fringe Tag ($5) is required for admission to all Fringe Festival shows and can be picked up at any Fringe box office. Performance prices vary. Customize your Fringe experience and select to see a variety of shows.

Reviews, photos, and updates will be uploaded here as the event unfolds. Follow @mscourtneybeth on Twitter and Instagram for social media updates. Get immersed in the arts and be ready to be entertained and enlightened by the experience not like any other in the city.
