SAN DIEGO - Over twenty-five bands competed for the 2013 San Diego Battle of the Bands final on Mar 9, 2013. Hosted by 710 Beach Club in Pacific Beach, Calif., the contest came down to three finalists: The Ezekiel Jay Band, Brothers Gow and Chocolate Revolution!
Over a few hundred music enthusiast rooted on their favorite band as they danced the night away to a mixture of rock n roll, reggae and mellow rock. Ezekiel Jay, lead singer of 'The Ezekiel Jay Band' said, "Opening up the venue is awesome, I am just happy to be in the finals along with such talented musical line-up".
Using tear sheets, the crowd cast their vote into pitchers around the club with results coming out on Mar 11, 2013.
Coming in third place was Chocolate Revolution. The Ezekiel Jay Band took second place and the Brothers Gow came in victoriously to win the $1,000.00 dollar Grand prize and winner of the 2013 San Diego Battle of the Bands.
