The San Antonio Spurs have redeemed their disappointing lost against the Miami Heat in last years finals to take the crown of 2014 NBA champions. The Spurs knocked off the Miami Heat by winning the series 4-1.

Even though the Miami Heat jump off to an incredible start and briefly held a 16 point lead, the Spurs quickly redeemed themselves. Kawhi Leonard, along with Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills, quickly got the Spurs back into contention.

Leonard scored 22 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds. Not only did Leonard become an NBA champion at age 22, he also earned the 2014 MVP finals trophy making him, besides Tim Duncan, one of the youngest players to win the award.

Patty Mills, the instant spark off the bench, scored 17 points and torched the Heat for five 3-pointers. He also played tenacious and smothering defense against the Miami Heat players in which he drew numerous charges against them in the last three games.

Manu Ginobili also lit the Heat up for 19 points. Even though Tony Parker did not have anything going in the first half, he came alive in the fourth quarter and added 16 points to help the Spurs to their 2014 NBA title.
