Samuel L. Jackson to entertainment reporter: 'I'm not Lawrence Fishburne!'

On Feb. 10 People reports that Samuel L. Jackson went off on an entertainment reporter after asked him questions about a Superbowl commercial that starred Lawrence Fishburne. The reporter had mistaken him for Fishburne while Jackson was promoting his new movie "Robocop." The mistake sent Jackson into a rant like no other that not only schooled the reporter but likely had him thinking twice about race and people in general.

Samuel L. Jackson went off on KTLA anchor Sam Rubin telling him that he is just as crazy as the people on Twitter. Not being one to simply let things die, Jackson continued his rant saying;

""We don't all look alike! We may be all black and famous, but we don't all look alike! You're the entertainment reporter for this station, and you don't know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne? I'm the other guy, 'what's in your wallet,' I'm that guy. There's more than one black guy doing a commercial. I'm the 'what's in your wallet black guy, he's the car commercial black guy, Morgan Freeman is the other credit card black guy. You only hear his voice though, so you probably won't confuse him with Laurence Fishburne."

Rubin attempted to apologize and move on, but Jackson was heated and had to say his piece as this is a common occurrence for him. He also made sure to note that he has never done a McDonald's or Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial either. Sm Rubin later apologized, again on air, thoroughly embarrassed. He likely won't make that mistake again.
