What could bring celebrities like Alice Cooper, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Bolton together? The answer would be a spectacular charity event which is about to take place. On June 11 in London these stars will be getting together in support of raising funds for Rainbow Trust Children's Charity and the Samuel L. Jackson Foundation in a charity benefit called "Shooting Stars in Desert Nights".
The benefit will take place in two parts. The first will start during the day where international celebrities will be joining together to play golf at the London Golf Club. Celebrities will be team captains while charity supporters will have a chance to play golf with some of their favorite stars. A competition on the golf course will take place to raise money for charity.
The second part of "Shooting Stars in Desert Nights" will take place on the evening of June 11 at London's Hurlingham Club. This will be a "Black and White Ball Benefit" which will be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson. Music, food and a charity auction will be just a few of the features of this elegant and sophisticated evening.
Proceeds will go to Rainbow Trust Children's Fund, a non-profit organization which supports families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness and also the Samuel L. Jackson Foundation, which supports various charities including the Red Cross, Breast Cancer Campaign, Save the Children and AIDS institutes.
