It seems that every time Samsung releases a major Galaxy S phone (aside from the mini and other offerings that stray from the numerical line), they create a package that is too good to resist. From their large, AMOLED Screens, to their top of the line processors, to their slick, thin profiles, great hardware design, and high quality cameras, the Galaxy S line of phones is a tough phone for any manufacturer to beat. So how can Samsung improve on the Galaxy S III? We just might find in March at Samsung's Unpacked event.
The Galaxy S IV is rumored to be revealed at the Samsung Unpacked Event, according to Asia Economy. This makes sense as the phone is rumored to be released in May, so this announcement date seems appropriate. Also, the Galaxy S III had its own launch event and the fact that Samsung would make a single launch event for the S IV makes sense.
Asian Economy goes to say that the event will uncharacteristically be held in the US, which will be around the same time that the newest iPad will be announced. This seems like a smart move on the part of Samsung, as the S IV has a good chance of stealing the thunder from Apple's device, due to the strong brand recognition of the Galaxy line.
