In about two years Samsung has sold about 40 million large screen Galaxy Note devices, with about 30 million accounting for the year-old Note II. Samsung is reported to have hit the 40 million device milestone just two weeks after it said it sold 38 million Note devices. Samsung's greatest competitor, Apple, sold 31.2 million iPhones in its most recent quarter.
